Governance at Beaconfields

At Beaconfields Primary School, we believe that effective governance is the cornerstone of educational excellence. Our dedicated team of governors, trustees, and local community members collaboratively shape the future of our school.

Please find below details of our governing board.

Emily Almond

My name is Emily Almond, I bring a wealth of experience in education, coupled with a passion for fostering growth and learning. With a background in both teaching and running a successful travel business, I am committed to contributing positively to the educational journey of students within our school community. During my time at Bournemouth University, whilst completing my Sports Development and Coaching Sciences degree, I spent a year teaching and living at an independent boarding school. From here my interest in the education sector only grew, leading me on to Keele University for my PGCE and later, my position at Parkside Primary School teaching and leading PE within the school up until the end of 2023. Drawing from my years in education, I understand the importance of creating an environment that nurtures both academic excellence and personal development. I am deeply invested in ensuring that every student has access to quality education and opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential.
