Our School Assemblies

At Beaconfields Primary School, assemblies are an important part of our school community and provide opportunities for children to come together, reflect, celebrate and learn. We hold three assemblies each week, with one focusing on our school values of Be Kind, Be Resilient, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Aspirational, helping children understand how these values can be demonstrated in everyday life. Our weekly singing assembly brings the school together through music, developing confidence, enjoyment and a sense of belonging. We also hold a celebration assembly, where we recognise and celebrate children's achievements, positive contributions and successes. Throughout the year, our assemblies also provide opportunities to explore important days, events and issues happening locally, nationally and around the world, helping children to develop their understanding of the wider world, show respect for others and become thoughtful and responsible members of our community.
