School Values

Kindness
Responsibility
Respect
Resilience
Aspiration
Our five school values — Kindness, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience and Aspiration — are at the heart of everything we do at Beaconfields Primary School. These values were carefully chosen through consultation with our children, families, staff and wider school community, ensuring they reflect the qualities we believe are important for our children to develop and carry with them throughout their lives. Our values underpin the way we learn, behave and work together as a school community and help to shape the culture and ethos of Beaconfields. Children are explicitly taught what each value means and, importantly, what it looks like in practice. Through our weekly assemblies and PSHE lessons, children explore different examples and scenarios, helping them to understand how they can demonstrate our values in their everyday lives. We regularly celebrate children who demonstrate our values, reinforcing positive behaviours and ensuring that our values are lived and experienced throughout the school in our congratulations assembly each Friday.
