Emily Almond-Co-opted Governor
My name is Emily Almond, I bring a wealth of experience in education, coupled with a passion for fostering growth and learning. With a background in both teaching and running a successful travel business, I am committed to contributing positively to the educational journey of students within our school community. During my time at Bournemouth University, whilst completing my Sports Development and Coaching Sciences degree, I spent a year teaching and living at an independent boarding school. From here my interest in the education sector only grew, leading me on to Keele University for my PGCE and later, my position at Parkside Primary School teaching and leading PE within the school up until the end of 2023. Drawing from my years in education, I understand the importance of creating an environment that nurtures both academic excellence and personal development. I am deeply invested in ensuring that every student has access to quality education and opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential.

Robin McMahon - SBStJ MSc BSc RGN RSCN FAETC VR QARANC- Chair Co-opted Governor
Robin is a highly qualified and experienced nurse with a background in neonatal care. He began his career as a Registered General Nurse in North Staffordshire before specialising in Neonatal Nursing. He completed a Neonatal Intensive Care course at King's College Hospital, London, and later became a Senior Charge Nurse at Birmingham Women’s Hospital.
Robin holds a BSc in Nursing Studies and an MSc in Professional Studies in Healthcare. He has published papers and served as Consultant Editor for a book on emergency care for nurses. In 2006, he travelled to Sri Lanka with a team to teach Neonatal life support.
A committed member of St. John Ambulance since 1982, Robin has held various roles, including Commissioner (Operations). He has secured significant funding for life-saving equipment and vehicles. In 2016, he became the Regional Clinical Manager for St. John Ambulance West Midlands Region.
Robin has also been active in education, serving as a primary school governor for several years. He has a military background, having served as a Nursing Officer in Afghanistan and holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Volunteer Reserves. He currently serves in a Staff Officer Medical role with the 11 Security Force Assistance Brigade.
He lives with his family in Stone, Stafford
Sarah Yasir-Parent Governor
I am a motivated and disciplined individual with a Master’s in Mass Communication and professional experience in the beauty and wellness industry. I successfully owned and managed a large overseas salon, gaining experience in business management, marketing, recruitment, administration, and event management.
I am eager to contribute my skills in a meaningful role within the community. I possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. My patient, flexible, and solution-focused approach allows me to remain calm under pressure whilst adapting to new challenges.
I am passionate about education and believe the primary years are crucial for fostering children’s well-being and preparing them for the future. I am committed to supporting the school’s vision and ensuring it meets the needs of pupils, staff, and the wider community.
In my personal life, I enjoy painting, travelling, and playing badminton, hobbies that reflect my creative and energetic nature.
Regan Dale- Vice Chair Co-opted Governor
egan brings experience through her BA Hons degree in Childhood Studies as well as 10 years of working in the education sector. Her proudest achievement is working as an English teacher in China for 6 months during her degree.
Regan was the Director of a Maths and English tuition service for 5 years and had overall responsibility for curriculum delivery, recruiting and training of staff, safeguarding and finance. During this time Regan successfully passed two Ofsted inspections.
Currently Regan is an Account Manager for an Education Technology company and provides curriculum solutions for over 15 colleges in the Midlands.
Regan is passionate about making a difference to children's lives and ensuring that every child has the best possible journey through education. She is currently starting this journey with her three year old daughter, who is showing the same enjoyment for learning as her!
Kate Bills-Co-opted Governor
Kate is a senior leader and specialises in Teaching and Learning. Prior to this, she was an Early Years Lead and has worked in a variety of Staffordshire schools.
Kate has an English and American Literatures degree with a 2:1, followed by a PGCE in Primary Education and a Master of Arts in Education. Kate has since completed an NPQ qualification and is currently completing her Senior Leadership qualification.
She is passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for children and looks forward to supporting this from a strategic perspective.
Andrew Francis- Co-opted Governor
Andrew is a Mechanical Engineer HNC and is the Manager of Clayton Thermal Products Ltd UK. Andrew is responsible for the strategic operations of Clayton Thermal Products Ltd. UK, including Service and Sales. Andrew is qualified in Health and Safety and is experience in staff recruitment and employee management. . Andrew has been a resident of the North End of Stafford for 18 years and is keen to be part of the governance that will not only support the local community but ultimately ensure the best possible outcomes for the children of Beaconfields.
Rebecca Bell - Executive Headteacher
Rebecca Bell joined The Creative Learning Partnership Trust in 2013.
Rebecca qualified with a 2:1 Bachelor of Education degree with Early Years Specialism in July 2008 from the university of Liverpool.
Rebecca is the Executive Headteacher of Beaconfields Primary and Nursery School and Burleyfields Primary School, also working as School Improvement lead for The Creative Learning Partnership Trust.
She is committed to excellence, nurtures creativity and intellectual exploration. Rebecca has cultivated collaborative relationships with parents and the community, fostering a shared sense of pride in the school she leads.
Rebecca has since completed three NPQ qualifications and has recently completed an NPQH. She has completed coaching training and has more recently become a licenced practitioner for the Bell Foundation. Outside of school, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. They enjoy spending time in the outdoors and discovering new places.
